wedpalette collects the minimum it needs to work, and nothing it does not.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Neige AI, Inc., a Delaware (USA) corporation, 2261 Market St STE 46015, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States. For anything in this policy, write to hello@wedpalette.com.
What is collected
wedpalette has no accounts and no login. When you buy, Stripe collects your email to send your board link and handle billing; card numbers never touch wedpalette's own servers. Your quiz answers (yours and your partner's) and the finished board are stored: they are what your private link opens, so they are kept for as long as the link needs to work. Any photos you add to the quiz are analyzed in the moment to read colouring only, then discarded: they are never uploaded to storage and never saved. The only thing kept from a photo is the short written description of colouring the analysis produces, stored with your answers. There is also anonymous usage analytics (pageviews and a checkout-click event) via Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies at all. Everyone also gets PostHog, which records anonymous product analytics and error reports so we can see where the site breaks. PostHog also records screen replays, but ONLY on public pages such as the home page, the guides and the palette pages: replay is switched off for the whole quiz, for the checkout return, and for your board, so your answers, your names and your photos are never in a recording. Where you visit from decides how PostHog starts: in the European Union, the EEA, and the United Kingdom, a banner asks first, and it sets nothing until you answer; decline and it still counts you, anonymously, without a cookie. Everywhere else, PostHog sets its own first-party cookies from your first visit, the same way most analytics tools do, and it never tracks you across other sites either way. Errors thrown by our own servers are reported to PostHog for every visitor, since that happens on our side and stores nothing in your browser.
Ad measurement, scoped to where the ads run
wedpalette advertises only in the United States, and its Meta ad measurement is scoped to match. The Meta Pixel loads only for visitors whose device places them in the Americas: visitors in Europe never receive its script or its cookies, so Meta never asks a consent question of its own (the PostHog banner above is a separate, analytics-only choice). When a purchase completes, a hashed (irreversible) copy of the buyer's email is sent to Meta so the purchase can be attributed to the ad that brought them, and only when the billing country at checkout is the United States.
What is never done with it
Your data is not sold or rented, and it is never put on a marketing list. Your photos are never stored. Beyond Meta's US-scoped ad-measurement role described above, there is no other advertising use and no profiling. The processors are Stripe, Vercel, Anthropic (the AI service that writes the board from your answers, which does not train on them), and, for US ad measurement, Meta, each holding the minimum its job needs.
Your rights and deletion
Ask, and your board, your answers, and the email tied to them are deleted. If you are in the European Union, you can also ask for a copy of this data or a correction of it, and you have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. The only records kept longer are the billing records the law requires Stripe to retain (invoices, tax records), and only for as long as required.
